01 — Feasibility Studies
Working out if a site actually works
Before anything gets drawn in detail, we test what a site can realistically deliver — reading its constraints and opportunities, checking it against local planning policy and Building Regulations, and thinking through how a scheme gets sold and built, affordable housing included.
02 — Detailed Master Planning
Turning potential into a planning application
Once a site's potential is proven, we prepare the detailed layouts that go in front of your local authority — tailored to their validation requirements, designed to fit the local vernacular, and backed by a Design and Access Statement that explains the thinking behind it.
03 — Technical Design
Drawings that stand up to Building Control
Planning permission is only the start. We produce the working drawings a Building Control surveyor needs to sign off — checked trade by trade for buildability, so the tender is accurate and costly surprises get designed out early rather than found on site.

Ten years in the industry, now working for you directly
Plan Urban Design Ltd supports the delivery of good places to live, covering RIBA Stages 0–7 — from early feasibility through to construction support and the paperwork that follows handover.
We work with landowners, developers and local authorities across the UK, with particular depth in English Building Regulations and Midlands planning policy.
